The Golden Globes Winners, Why They Deserved It

Most of us have watched the Golden Globes, and quite frankly I’d have to say the winners this year definitely deserved it. I mean with a lineup of Guillermo del Toro, Steven Spielberg, Eddie Murphy, etc., you can start to see already how I feel this way. I’d first like to start off with Guillermo del Toro’s groundbreaking work in Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio. This film features a colorful soundtrack that is ever so pleasing to the ears, a lively and captivating cast, a charming and riveting story, and so much more. It’s definitely a sight for sore eyes and absolutely a film that 2022 needed. Guillermo del Toro won Animated Feature Film, which I feel is very well deserved.
Moving on, we have Steven Spielberg with The Fablemans. Steven Spielberg’s The Fablemans is an autobiography-type film about Spielberg’s own childhood and life. The charismatic cast and Spielberg’s legendary directing skills formed the astonishing motion picture that we can view on the big screen. Spielberg has previously directed and written many movies most of us most likely know, such as Jaws, E.T., Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, and many more. Steven Spielberg won Drama Motion Picture for his film, The Fablemans. I have personally been a fan of Spielberg myself for a while, and I absolutely believe that he deserved this award for his outstanding contributions in the movie.
Moving on yet again, we have Eddie Murphy with his Cecil B. DeMille Award. Eddie Murphy has been keeping audiences laughing over the many years that he has worked in the film industry. Films he makes iconic appearances in include the Shrek series, The Nutty Professor, Dr. Dolittle (1998), Mulan, and more. Murphy’s hilarious and alluring personality gets a tight clutch of the viewers in the comedic movies that he contributes to. He adds a colorful personality and definite charm to every character he acts as. So all in all, I agree with the academy’s decision to award Eddie Murphy with the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
