If you have been scrolling through TikTok during these past few weeks in quarantine, chances are you have probably stumbled upon the whipped peaks of dalgona coffee somewhere on your timeline. The creamy, cloud-like concoction comes from South Korea, and owes its popularity to actor Jung Il Woo who tried to recreate the whipped coffee drink in a Korean TV clip.

Dalgona coffee, also known as “whipped coffee,” is the latest trend to take over the social media and coffee world as people are whipping up this caffeinated concoction during their extra time amid the coronavirus pandemic. It recently landed on TikTok’s trending page when users who missed their daily coffee routines started making it at home.

Although the whipped coffee looks like something only a professional barista would know how to create, it’s actually easy to make at home and only requires four ingredients. Most TikTok users are following these simple instructions to get in on the trend:

Ingredients
2 tablespoons hot water
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons instant coffee
Your choice of milk

Preparation
Combine equal proportions of instant coffee powder, sugar, and hot water in a bowl (recommended 2 tablespoons of each ingredient)
Use a whisk or an electric mixer to whip the ingredients together until the mixture is a light and fluffy consistency with a caramel-brown color (may take a few minutes depending on the method used)
Pour a half-full glass of milk, top off with a scoop of whipped coffee, and enjoy
