French toast recipe
Breakfast food is great for anytime of the day whether it is in the morning, afternoon, and even at night. French toast is an amazing dish filled with cinnamon goodness and will leave you satisfied once you eat it. It taste good when you go out to eat it, but it taste even better when it is made freshly at the comfort of one’s home.
Step 1: Gather the following ingredients
– an egg
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– ½ teaspoon of cinnamon (1 teaspoon if preferred)
– ¼ cup of milk
– a pinch of salt
– 4 slices of bread
Step 2: Beat together the egg, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a shallow dish
Step 3: Stir in the milk into the shallow dish containing the mixture of egg, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
Step 4: Dip the pieces of bread in to the mixture coating both sides evenly.
Step 5: Place the pieces of bread onto a lightly greased pan on medium until it is nicely brown on both sides.
Step 6 (optional): Top of with fresh fruits, syrup, or powdered sugar.
