DIY Masks

From gel to foam to sheet, masks that you buy at stores can contain chemicals and all sorts of things that may be safe for your skin. By making your own mask, you are able to know what you put on your face. Below are two masks that you can make to improve your skin.

1. Apple cider vinegar exfoliate/maskĀ 

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
-2 teaspoon of green tea
-7 teaspoon of sugar
-1 teaspoon of honey

-a bowl

-a spoon

Recipe:

  1. Take 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, 2 teaspoon green tea, and 5 teaspoon of sugar in a bowl and stir.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of honey and the other 2 teaspoon of sugar and stir once more.
  3. Put the mask on your face and scrub your face in circular motion for about two minutes.
  4. Let the mask rest on your face for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Scrub again for about two more minutes and rinse your face.

This mask can be kept in the fridge for about 1 month. Apple cider vinegar is packed with alpha hydroxy and amino acids which can gently dissolve dead skin. Use this mask twice a week for one to two months to see results.

2. Almond mask

Ingredients:

-1 teaspoon of almond powder

-1 teaspoon of honey

Recipe:

  1. Mix the two ingredients together.
  2. Add a little bit of water to create a creamy consistency.
  3. Put the mixture on your face and let it rest on your face for five minutes.
  4. After five minutes, exfoliate your face by rubbing in circular motion and rinse your face.

This mask will help your skin become clearer, younger smoother, firmer, and brighter. Almonds are packed with antioxidants that helps your skin reduce wrinkles, acne, and sun damage. This recipe only contains enough for one use.
