Chainsmokers’ music, memories to be released

With only three years in the music industry and the public eye, Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall is going to release their debut album. This is quite unexpected, considering The Chainsmokers are only often on the radio in those three years. Many of their songs are catchy and has a unique beat. I look forward to their album. They have released two successful extended plays (EPs) filled with soothing notes and whimsical lyrics. For example, their summer song, “Closer” in collaboration with Halsey, reached the top charts such as the Billboard Hot 100, where they stay for more than 10 weeks. The Chainsmokers set to release their album “Memories…Do Not Open” on April 7. The title of the album itself already draws me in to seek out what their brand new songs shall sound like. Some songs that will be in their album includes their recently released “The One,” the nostalgic “Something Just Like This,” and the song “Paris.” With a total of nine new and soon to be heard songs, I look forward to listening to the rest of their album and I recommend those who have sang along to “Closer” to take a listen to this album of sounds and words that could have an effect on you this year.
