The GreenHaus Café & Bakery offers fresh, affordable food

Located in the middle of San Gabriel, this restaurant may be easily missed as it is small and contains only a couple of parking spaces. With bright, green chairs and aesthetic furniture inside and outside, the café seemed to have a chill and relaxed vibe.
The menu consisted of breakfast and lunch items, including food such as your typical omelette, pasta, sandwich, and salad. I came in during lunch time, so I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a green tea latte.
Although the food took quite a long time to arrive considering there were not many customers in the café, the quality of the food made up for it. Everything combined, with the soft and spongy buns, the juice and flavorful grilled chicken, and the fresh arugula, tomatoes, swiss cheese and basil aioli, tasted absolutely amazing. The sandwich also came with a huge tasty portion of french fries perfectly seasoned with salt. In addition, the green tea latte had the right amount of green tea flavor and sweetness.
One factor that made me enjoy the café even more was the outstanding service. All of the waitresses were friendly and often approached me to ask if I needed additional help. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and had a homey feel to it, which I liked. Overall, I rate this restaurant a 5 out of 5 stars because of the good food and excellent service. I will definitely come by again in the future to try more dishes and drinks.
